The BreastScreen SA Mobile Screening Unit will be visiting the West Coast in February.

The mobile unit is coming to Streaky Bay and Ceduna through the month, with all women aged 50 to 74 invited to come along and see the team for their two-yearly mammogram.

The screening is free and takes only 15 minutes to complete, and bookings can be made with friends, family members or in a group.

Undertaking a mammogram is the best way to detect breast cancer early and to give a greater chance of successful treatment.

The unit will be visiting Streaky Bay from February 3 to 12, then Ceduna from mid February to early March.

In Streaky Bay it will be located at the Streaky Bay Hospital on Flinders Drive, while in Ceduna it will be at Ceduna Hospital on Eyre Highway, opposite the main entrance in front of the emergency department.
