A wellness walk promoting community spirit and wellbeing will be hosted next month in Ceduna.
The walk, hosted by the Far West Suicide Prevention Network, will be an opportunity for community members to stretch their legs and clear their mind.
It will be hosted at 9am on Sunday, October 11, with the starting point being the undercover area at the Ceduna Sailing Club.
Participants can either walk to the Puckridge Boat Ramp or go to Pinky Point and back, depending on fitness levels.
Sunscreen, water and fruit will be supplied by organisers, while there will be vehicles taking participants back to the Sailing Club if needed, where Jill Crowther will be hosting an after-walk wind down and yoga session.
Event organiser Hans von Ohle said the walk was a chance for people to connect, be active and look after their wellbeing.
"The walk is not a race, but just an opportunity to get our and enjoy the morning and connect with other like-minded people," he said.
"It is a chance to shake off the winter blues and enjoy our community spirit, and focus on mental health wellbeing."
Mr von Ohle said after the first walk that the response from attendees was positive.
All community members are invited to attend the wellness walk, with all ages welcome.
Participants are required to bring a towel and yoga mat for the yoga session.
