NSW South Coast kangaroo massacre: Co-accused has sentencing delayed

One of the men who admitted he killed kangaroos in Tura Beach has had his sentencing delayed to later this year.

The incident on September 28, 2019, left 21 kangaroos dead, with Numbugga's Nathan Sanger, 20, and his co-accused Ashley Sorenson, 33, both pleading guilty to charges of torture, beat and cause death of animal.

Sorenson, whose address was in Tura Beach at the time of the incident, had his case appear in Queanbeyan Local Court on April 30, but the matter was adjourned for sentencing to July 31.
