Three ladies recently received life membership from Ceduna's Shiraz Dining Club for their longstanding commitment to the club.

The trio of Yvonne Kloeden, Jenny Everett and Rhonda Hewitson were honoured at the club's annual general meeting.

The ladies have served more than 20 years doing time on the committee in various roles.

President Tracy Chandler congratulated the ladies on their achievement and thanked them for their dedication to the club, while fellow life members presented the awards.

Also noted at the meeting was the Shiraz Dining Club will be celebrating 50 years in 2021 and a big year of celebrations are planned.

Shiraz is known as the longest running wine club in Australia and Jean Cooper is still an active founding life member, along with fellow life member Lorrayne Balharry.

The Ceduna club will be celebrating 50 years in June 2021 and all past and present members are welcome to join.

More details on the celebration will be announced closer to the date.
