The Ceduna Bowling Club hosted the women's association pairs last Friday, with Heather Workman and Melva Freeman taking top honours.
Windy conditions tested the skills of all players, with the Ceduna and Streaky Bay clubs equally represented and 14 teams in total competing on the day.
The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all the ladies, with many laughs heard across the green.
Four games of 10 ends were contested, with Workman and Freeman going through undefeated to be declared the winners.
Five pairs finished with three wins apiece, with the runners-up to be determined by a superior winning margin - this honour went to Eileen Fitzgerald and Carol Thomas.
A good day of bowling and fellowship concluded with afternoon tea supplied by the host club.
