Drink driver caught at Penong

A woman has lost her car and her licence after being caught drink driving at Penong on Thursday.

Just before 8pm, police stopped a ute with no number plates that was driving on Eyre Highway.

The driver, a 44-year-old Oak Valley woman, was breath tested and allegedly returned a positive result of 0.181, while further checks revealed she was driving without a licence.

The woman was reported for drink driving, driving unlicensed and for driving without number plates.

She was issued with a 12-month loss of licence and had her car impounded for 28 days.
