Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Jay Hoad returns to Eyre Peninsula this month to perform his two newest albums as part of his 'Earth Music' tour.
Hoad, who in the past year has performed at Glastonbury, WOMAD, and the Adelaide Fridge Festival, will perform at the Streaky Bay Hotel on December 15, then the Penong Hotel on December 20 and the Ceduna Foreshore Hotel on December 21.
Hoad said he was looking forward to the South Australian shows.
"The locals have always been so supportive of the show in this region.
"(I) have had some really memorable shows here on past Australian Tours.
"I absolutely love SA and I've got plenty of down time in between the shows so I'll be spending a lot of time at the beach."
All shows will be free entry community events with more details about the tour on his website.
Hoad's return to the region comes in the midst of a successful year, having visited 15 countries with 'Earth Music'.
He has also launched an online learning experience for musical students, guitardidgelessons.com.
The online music school offers one-on-one lessons with Hoad and was inspired by his "passionate students" on the Fleurieu as his busy touring schedule meant he could not continue giving lessons in person.
When he finishes his Australian coastline tour, Hoad plans to travel back to Fiji and India to continue his tour.
