Streaky Bay Green leads the way

Streaky Bay Green remains top of the Western Eyre Peninsula Bowls Association table after a round eight win against Streaky Bay White on Saturday.

Green won the all-Streaky duel 100-12 to 91-4.

Gus Giles and Graham Schaedel picked up big wins over John Rumbelow and Graham Kenny, while White's Darren Walker and Peter McEvoy got the better of Gavin Sincock and Bill Edwards.

Streaky Bay Gold is only a point behind in second position after a comfortable victory against Wirrulla which ended 104-14 to 77-2.

Rob Stephens defeated Craig Ferguson, while Nick Wrigley downed Peter Bitmead and Mark Wrigley got the better of Les Hamence.

The lone Wirrulla success came courtesy of A Watson, who defeated Mick Swanson.

Ceduna Blue kept pace with the top two thanks to a 102-12 to 86-4 triumph against Ceduna Gold.

There were two wins apiece in the all-Ceduna battle, with Blue's Brenton Miller defeating Howard Edson and Brian Hoffrichter picking up a big 34-11 win over Mick Evans.

Gold's Mark Lange defeated Ross Borlase and teammate Trystan Zippel beat Gary Wright.

Ceduna Purple moved up to fifth after defeating Wudinna Scrubbers 116-14 to 84-2.

Shaun Higgins and Deb Richter earned big wins over Peter Cock and Dean Berg, while it was closer between Mark Garrick and Dean Oswald.

The Scrubbers' lone win came courtesy of Ashley Joyce's triumph against Chris Holland.

Wudinna Blue earned a comprehensive victory over Minnipa 108-16 to 74-0.

The Wudinna team completed a clean sweep with wins to Leon Smart, Kevin Norton, Philip McKenna and Alan McGuire.
