Travel and Cruise Ceduna has been recognised with an encouragement award at the National Travellers Choice Conference in Adelaide earlier this month.
The outlet was one of just five Australian travel agencies to receive an encouragement award and owner Tullie Seneca said it was a surprise to take the award win.
"I wasn't expecting to win anything, being a smaller agency we don't tend to," she said.
"I knew we had a good 12 months and so we are delighted with the win."
She said they aimed to "go above and beyond" for clients and to win up against about 20 other Travellers Choice agencies showed they were doing well.
"Somebody else has recognised that as well, and the opportunity to be recognised as one of the leaders in the industry is a nice feeling," she said.
"We are proud the hard work has paid off."
Ms Seneca said Travel and Cruise Ceduna's aim was to continue its growth and do what they could to ensure customers were looked after.
The award win means the team will be off to Sydney next July for a weekend with top Travellers Choice agents at the national travel industry awards night.
Ms Seneca said it would be a networking weekend and a chance to pick up new ideas, to then utilise that knowledge in the Ceduna business.
