'TIS THE SEASON: Coral Avory and Ksharny Hoole are all smiles as they meet Father Christmas at the 2018 Ceduna Christmas Craft Fair.

The Ceduna Memorial Hall will play host to the 2019 Ceduna Christmas Craft Fair at the end of the month.

Organised by Flair on Eyre, the market will see stallholders selling locally produced handicrafts, produce and home-baked treats on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30.

Flair on Eyre's Jocelyn Wighton said preparations for the two-day event were going well and that they had been pleased with the response from the community.

She said the market would be the perfect chance to pick up a Christmas gift, with a variety of items available to purchase.

"We have around 30 stalls for the fair which is really good," she said.

"If you think of something it will be there - there will be jams, baking, sewing, knitted items such as toys that are safe for babies, paintings, candles and lots of Christmas gifts."

Also making an appearance will be Father Christmas, between 10.30am and 11.30am then 3pm to 4.30pm on Friday, and between 10am and 11.30am on Saturday.

Children can have a photo taken with Father Christmas for $5.

Ms Wighton said the market continued to be a special event on the Ceduna calendar.

"The fair is doing really well and while our members are getting older they are doing hard work each year to get it up and running," she said.

"It's also something the community looks forward to.

"We have a wonderful response from the community, and even the tourists coming through who come and check it out."
