One of Ceduna's older residents Una Trewartha celebrated her 95th birthday last week.
Ms Trewartha, now living in the Kulhmann Wing of the Ceduna Hospital, quietly celebrated the occasion with friends and family, and received messages from other family members.
Born on October 5, 1924 in the Ceduna Hospital - which is now the site of the restaurant at Foster's Caravan Park - Ms Trewartha lived with her parents Elizabeth and August Kloeden in the Hundred of O'Loughlin near Koonibba.
She also attended the local O'Loughlin School.
She married nearby farming neighbour, a returned Rat of Tobruk serviceman, Art Trewartha in 1946 and they farmed in the O'Loughlin area.
Mr Trewartha passed away in 2009 at the age of 92.
Ms Trewartha has children and grandchildren still living in Ceduna, while daughters and grandchildren have made their way to Port Lincoln and Adelaide.
