The Ceduna and Districts Bowling Club is preparing for the annual Oysterfest Classic this weekend.

The men's fours medley competition will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with each day consisting of two games of fours and two games of pairs, with $5000 in prize money up for grabs.

The entry fee is $240 per team, which includes lunch on both days, and entries will close when rinks are full.

Play commences at 9.30am on both days, with players and supporters also encouraged to enjoy evening meals in the clubrooms across the weekend - including roast on Friday, seafood on Saturday and a barbecue on Sunday.

The Port Lincoln quartet of Gerardo Perone, Sime Perin, Dan Hassell and Joe Perone have tasted victory for the past two years.
