UPDATE: Police are pleased to report missing Ceduna woman Catherine Bilney has been found safe and well.

Police launched a large scale search of the area for Ms Bilney on Monday and appealed to the public for information.

With the assistance of members of the public, she was located north of Minnipa this afternoon.

Police wish to thank those people and the broader community who assisted in this matter.

UPDATE: Police are continuing the search for Catherine Bilney.

Her vehicle was sighted at about 1am on Wednesday at the Westlands Shopping Centre carpark in Whyalla.

UPDATE: A member of the public reported possibly sighting her driving her vehicle, a white 2012 Hyundai i35 with the registration GOOGS1, at about 10am on Yardea Road, about 15 kilometres north of Minnipa heading in the direction of the Gawler Ranges.

Anyone travelling in the Gawler Ranges area around 10am on Monday, and may have seen this vehicle or the missing person is asked to contact police.

ORIGINAL: Police are seeking the assistance of the public to help locate missing woman Catherine Bilney.

The 55-year-old was last seen at her Ceduna home at about 8.30am on Monday.

Police and her family are concerned for her welfare.

Ms Bilney is 160 centimetres tall with dark hair, and was last seen wearing a long knee-length black top with a black turtleneck underneath, and brown trousers.

She may be driving a white 2012 Hyundai i35 with the registration GOOGS1.

Anyone who spots Catherine Bilney or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the police assistance line immediately on 131 444.
