Bendigo's Jennie Barnes is hoping to bring her instructional workshop on how to build your own casket to Ceduna, but needs participants.
Ms Barnes of Last Expressions is hoping to lead a group of at least five people in a workshop to help people design and decorate a casket.
She said a friend living in Ceduna was interested in building a casket, but she wanted a bigger group to make a trip from Victoria viable.
"I'm happy to come and do something, I need to organise a place to do it and I would love at least five people there," she said.
"I supply everything that is required from tools and timber, all I need is an area.
"It takes all day to put together, so I'd supply lunch and stay the night to help people decorate the next day."
Ms Barnes said the workshop also promoted the idea of people preparing for their own funerals and making it a more personal affair.
"Having only developed my creativity in the last two years, I can tell you the benefit of doing something creative - with the emotions that are attached to somebody passing away - is a wonderful thing to do," she said.
"I also want to start the conversation about people preparing their own funerals and making them personal, as a gift to your family so they don't have to make choices under severe grief and stress.
"Included in the caskets is a book I have called the Bottom Draw book, where you can write your wishes for a funeral."
