Students from across the West Coast participated in Book Week activities earlier this month.
Students put away their uniforms for a day to dress up as a favourite character from books, television or elsewhere for the occasion.
Competitions were also hosted to find the best dressed students on the day, with parades to show off the costumes.
At Streaky Bay School Community Library, community members participated in a special Stories and Rhymes event, including babies and toddlers with parents and carers - they also stayed for the school Book Week character parade.
On the Wednesday the library hosted the Great Book Swap to raise money for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, while on Thursday evening there was Bedtime Stories at the library, which was well attended.
