Central Eyre's 35-point Mid West football A grade victory over Wudinna United on Saturday has put it in pole position to secure the double chance.

The Bulldogs are second on the table, three points clear of Western Districts and the Magpies with two matches remaining after a 14-3 (87) to 7-10 (52) result.

Tasman Fitzgerald and Kane Grocke led the way with four goals apiece, while Wudinna's Jeffrey Hutt kicked a pair.

The match was evenly poised throughout the opening three quarters, with Central Eyre leading by five points at the first break.

Two goals to three Wudinna behinds extended the margin to 15 points, but the Magpies reduced the deficit by three-quarter time to a point before a superb final term saw Central Eyre home.

The Bulldogs kicked seven goals to one to run away with the win.

Mark Dolling was on fire as West Coast kicked clear after quarter-time to defeat Western Districts 24-15 (159) to 5-1 (31).

Dolling kicked seven goals in the 128-point success, with Dillon Montgomerie and Aidan Whitford adding four each.

The Hawks enjoyed the better of the first quarter to kick six goals, although Districts were hanging on to trail by 23 points.

The game was blown apart from there as West Coast added four goals in the second term and then eight goals to one in the third.

Ahead by 88 points, the Hawks finished strongly to kick another six goals while keeping the Tigers scoreless.

Wirrulla got the better of an inaccurate Elliston to win by 50 points.

An impressive second quarter led to Wirrulla's 11-15 (81) to 3-13 (31) victory.

Only three goals were kicked in a tight first quarter to have Wirrulla ahead by five and the visitors booted four goals to one once play resumed to widen the gap to 26.

While the Roosters were struggling to find the middle Wirrulla continued to pull away after half-time, kicking five further goals.

The trio of Ryan Watson, Robert Holmes and Simon Webb kicked two apiece for the Bombers.

In the B grade, Wudinna United kept Central Eyre scoreless for two quarters on the way to a 7-16 (58) to 3-0 (18) result.

The Magpies led throughout and turned a seven-point lead at half-time into a 32-point advantage at three-quarter time to secure the win.

Leading with two goals were Eugene Wauchope and Darryl Marshall.

Wirrulla got home by three points against Elliston in a comeback win.

The Roosters led at the end of the opening three quarters only to lose 5-5 (35) to 4-8 (32).

A seven-point lead at quarter-time grew to 16 by the main break, although Wirrulla started the comeback in the third term to trail by 11 points.

The Bombers kicked three goals to one in the final quarter to stun the hosts.

Craig Johnson led with two goals for Wirrulla, matched by Elliston duo Kyle Grant-Cook and Lachlan Custance.

In the other match, West Coast defeated Western Districts.
