Misty rain greeted Ceduna Golf Club players at the start and the finish of the three-person ambrose competition on Sunday.
Despite the difficult start and end, the rest of the day was fine and cool for players, as 18 teed off and the same number finished.
Winners on the day were Neville Betts, Shane Stoeker and Graeme Smart, finishing with a score of 68 net 60.
The longest drive on hole nine went to Peter Thompson. Nearest to the pin on the fourth hole was Barry Thompson, while Peter Thompson took the honours on hole 17.
Other results on the day saw Jimmy Nicholls, Peter Rawson and Tom Kennedy finish on 82 net 69.17; Barry Thompson, Brian Will and Zell Dodd carded 76 net 64.5; Andrew Xanthopoulos, Peter Thompson and Dean Uzzell on 70 net 63; Andy Partington, Ian McKenzie and Mick Stewart on 77 net 68.44; and Jamie Davies, John Fuller and Lance McWaters with 70 net 61.67.
This weekend will see the club play a stableford competition.
