A P-plater was fined after breaching the conditions of his licence by drink driving.
At 10.20am on Thursday, police stopped a vehicle on Kuhlmann Street at Ceduna for a mobile driver test where the driver, a 21-year-old Ceduna man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.054.
Provisional licence holders must have zero blood alcohol while driving.
The man admitted he had been drinking the night before and was surprised that he blew over the limit.
He was issued with a fine for drink driving and for breaching the conditions of his licence.
Police would like to remind all drivers, especially P-platers and professional drivers who must have zero blood alcohol, to be aware that alcohol could still be present in your system the following day.
