Simon Webb was the chief destroyer as Wirrulla downed Elliston by 68 points in A grade Mid West football on Saturday.
The Bombers kept in touch with the top four thanks to a 14-15 (99) to 5-1 (31) triumph at home.
Webb kicked half of his team's goals as he finished with seven, while Waylon Drew chipped in with a pair.
Wirrulla dominated from the outset with a four-goal opening quarter, while also keeping Elliston scoreless.
The lead was extended to 39 points at half-time and then four goals to two in the third term saw the match over as a contest, with the Bombers 52 points clear.
Wirrulla further increased the lead in the final quarter for good measure to snap a two-game losing run.
Elsewhere, West Coast was not troubled in a 17-12 (114) to 3-4 (22) win over Western Districts at Poochera.
The Hawks pulled clear after the first quarter to win by 92 points.
Two goals separated the teams at quarter-time, yet the league leaders made their move in the second term with four goals to one.
That extended the lead to 36 points by half-time and it only got worse for the Tigers after the main break as West Coast put another five through the sticks.
As is customary, the Hawks ran out the game in fine style and managed another five goals to two behinds to close out the game.
Braden Holmes continued a good run of form with five majors, while Jake McEvoy added four.
Callum Cook booted two goals for Western Districts.
Wudinna United is unbeaten in three matches after getting the better of Central Eyre by 24 points at Wudinna.
The Magpies kept in front throughout to come away with an 11-11 (77) to 7-11 (53) victory.
The teams went goal-for-goal in the opening term, with Wudinna shading it at the siren by three points.
The hosts broke clear in the second term, but the lead could have been more than 21 points had more than three of 10 scoring shots been converted.
Central Eye reduced the deficit to 14 points at three-quarter time, however Wudinna finished strongly to secure the win.
Izaac Boylan led the goalkicking with three majors.
In the B grade, West Coast thrashed Western Districts 22-9 (141) to no score.
Hayden Brands kicked six goals as the Hawks cruised to victory.
Wudinna United also had a comfortable day out with a 9-9 (63) to 0-6 (6) win against Central Eyre, with Darryl Marshall grabbing three goals.
Wirrulla defeated Elliston via forfeit.
