West Coast bowlers have been drafted ahead of the upcoming season of SA Super League bowls.
Streaky Bay pair Damon Edmunds and Mark Wrigley have been selected for the Heysen Comets squad to compete in the 2019 campaign.
The pair will be joined in the squad by fellow Eyre Peninsula player Ally Baldock of Cummins, as the Comets look to defend their Super League crown.
The players were selected from a pool of 144 draft hopefuls from bowling clubs from across South Australia.
Six players were drafted for each team at the recent draft, chosen alongside six players already selected.
"There was a real thirst to be involved by talented players in the SA Super League and the interest was overwhelming, with this shown from the number and range of nominees putting their names forward for consideration," Bowls SA acting chief executive officer Erin Haines said.
The Heysen Comets defeated the South Eastern Spartans 60-54 in last season's grand final.
