An award winning family show is on its way to Elliston as part of a regional South Australian tour organised through Country Arts SA's Shows On The Road program.
Tom Flanagan brings his silent slapstick acrobatic comedy show Kaput to the Elliston Community Hall on June 18.
Country Arts SA Elliston Presenter Group spokeswoman Julie Allchurch said it was great to have artistic shows like this come to Elliston.
"Here in Elliston we have many people who love the arts and we are excited that Country Arts SA is bringing this fun family show, 'Kaput' to our community," she said.
"We're excited about the arts opportunities Country Arts SA in collaboration with the council and our communities can bring to our local area, and being a family show we think 'Kaput' will be a great fit and will put a smile on many faces."
Kaput features Mr Flanagan's "elegant buffoon" character as his life is flipped upside-down by the lonely, dust covered world that surrounds him.
Mr Flanagan said regional tours were some of his favourite experiences as a performer.
"Even though I've been around the world with 'Kaput' I always find the communities in regional Australia the most warm and fun to play to," he said.
"I'm looking forward to meeting everyone around SA."
Country Arts SA is committed to providing communities access to touring performances and host performances in their towns through the Shows on the Road program.
Tickets for the show are available at the Elliston Community and Visitor Information Centre or online at countryarts.org.au.
The event is supported by Elliston District Council.
