Ceduna takes part in Simultaneous Storytime

The Ceduna School Community Library participated in the 19th National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday.

The event is held in librarys, schools, preschools, childcare centres and family homes across the country with an Australian picture book read simultaneously.

This year participants joined in reading the picture book 'Alpacas with Maracas' by Matt Cosgrove.

The Ceduna School Library event involved the Seniors group, Ceduna Area School reception to year 6 students and children from Ngura Yadurirn Child and Family Centre and Save the Children.

Teacher Meralyn Stevens read the story while Amber Drummond and played Macca and Sheryl Cook played Al to set the scene.

With minor role support from Kirsty Collins, Avril Luke, Sarah Snodgrass, Kenzie Perry and Paula Marks put on a great show for the audience.

Ceduna Area School student Kenzie Perry made the props for the performance and was recognised for her efforts.
