An awesome display saw West Coast annihilate Wudinna United by 240 points in Mid West A grade football at Wudinna on Saturday.
The Hawks were relentless as they destroyed an undermanned Magpies outfit 37-25 (247) to 1-1 (7).
The Magpies knew it would be a struggle from the outset against a team which had won its three previous matches in style and the opening quarter did little to ease fears, with the Hawks ahead by 53 points.
A second-quarter onslaught saw West Coast pile on 13 goals to no score, extending the lead to 138 points by half-time.
Phoenix Foster got Wudinna's only goal of the match in the third term, but the Hawks added a further six.
As in other matches they showed no mercy in the closing stages and another big final quarter saw the league leaders notch a further 10 majors.
Braden Holmes led the scoring with seven goals, while Mark Dolling booted six and both Jess Kenny and Dillon Montgomerie grabbed five.
On West Coast's tail is Central Eyre, with the Bulldogs recording a third win of the season.
Central Eyre pulled away in the second term against Wirrulla to win by 23 points, as the match ended 9-7 (61) to 5-8 (38).
The Bulldogs shared the goals around, with Jesse Stringer and Wade O'Brien leading with two apiece, while Simon Webb kicked three for the Bombers.
Central Eyre edged ahead in a tight first quarter, leading by nine points after only three goals were kicked.
The second term was where the Bulldogs kicked clear as four goals to one saw the lead extended to 26 at half-time.
They also kicked the only goal of the third quarter, although Wirrulla would rue five behinds which could have reduced the deficit.
The Bombers did find their feet in the fourth term and won the quarter with three goals to two, but it was too late to have an impact on the scoreboard.
Elsewhere, Damon King-O'Loughlin was the chief destroyer as Western Districts ran away to a 74-point win against Elliston.
King-O'Loughlin booted eight goals - half the Tigers' tally - in a 16-10 (106) to 5-2 (32) victory over the reigning premiers.
Districts always had their noses in front and led at quarter-time by 16 points, before extending the margin to 42 following five goals in the second term to Elliston's one.
The Tigers were in command and King-O'Loughlin on fire as they added another five goals to a solitary Roosters point in the third quarter.
Elliston showed spirit in the final quarter as both teams notched three goals, but the win has Western Districts alone in third position.
Andrew Miller and Locky Redden helped King-O'Loughlin in front of goal with three and two majors respectively.
In the B grade, Wudinna United was no match for West Coast.
Cody Colbung kicked five goals as the Hawks cruised to a 137-point drubbing as it ended 22-13 (145) to 1-2 (8).
West Coast kicked five goals in each of the opening two quarters as the Magpies could register just one behind.
It got worse for the hosts in the third term as the Hawks piled on eight goals to take the margin out to 115 points.
Wudinna got its only goal in the final quarter through Bailey Joseph, with the Hawks adding another four.
Assisting Colbung in front of goal were Jay Johns with four majors and Nathan Tschuna with three.
The other matches saw Wirrulla beat Central Eyre and Western Districts defeat Elliston via forfeit.
The colts match between Central Eyre and Wirrulla was a one-point thriller as the Bulldogs emerged victorious.
Wirrulla led at quarter-time, but the visitors turned it around to take the lead into the next two breaks - all by single-digit margins - before claiming a 10-11 (71) to 11-4 (70) result.
West Coast kept Wudinna United goalless to win 11-4 (70) to 0-1 (1), while Elliston defeated Western Districts via forfeit.
