If you enjoy a good book and would like to get together with other like-minded book lovers to share a laugh and discuss reading material, a potential new Ceduna book club is just for you.

Janet Maloney, who has recently arrived in Ceduna, said she was keen to start a group for like-minded book lovers and is happy to host.

"I've found in the past book club is a great way to expand my local knowledge, make friends and have a good time," she said.

Ceduna School Community Library librarian Meralyn Stevens said a new book club would be welcome.

"The book clubs we have had in the past have been loud and gregarious, lots of fun for those involved," she said.

"We'd love to have another book club."

The group plans to meet monthly and would first meet in the library, however the location could then change to homes on a rotation basis.

If you would like to get involved, contact Ms Maloney at j4nyts@gmail.com or the library on either 8625 3270 or ceduna.library@plain.sa.gov.au.

The aim is to get started just after the June long weekend, so those interested are asked to register their interest as soon as possible.
