Streaky Bay will host an event to promote wellbeing among farming communities next month.
Tickets are now available for a weekend of events for drought-affected farmers to be held on April 6-7.
The 'Growing Together' event will be hosted by Mentally Fit EP, with a guest appearance from media personality Sam Kekovich.
Workshops promoting resilience in farmers will run through the Saturday at the Streaky Bay Hotel, including mindfulness training and perspectives from farmers working in local industries.
The hotel will host a three-course dinner, where farmer David Head and Sam Kekovich will be guest speakers.
Local band The Fluffers will be playing live after the dinner at the jetty bar.
On Sunday there will be a family day at Streaky Bay Oval with activities for all to enjoy, including a fun run hosted by THRiVE Streaky Bay in conjunction with the Streaky Bay District Council.
Participants are invited to walk or run along the foreshore on either a two kilometre track, 5km or 10km.
Other activities include bubble soccer, archery tag, jumping castles, plus a vintage car show and shine.
Buses to the event will run from Ceduna, Wudinna and Elliston, with pickup available at towns in between.
