Tom Siegert - better known as the Suburban Footballer - will be bringing his talents to Ceduna next month.

A Facebook sensation with more than 50,000 followers of his videos and one liners, Mr Siegert's show explains life in the country or suburban football ranks.

The Ceduna Blues Sports Club will host the comedian on Friday, March 15, with doors opening at 6pm and the show starting at 8.30pm.

Promoter Anthony Lamond said this was a great chance to see an in-demand comedian.

"It's a very high energy, interactive show and what I love is the basic fundamentals of what we laugh at are the same at clubs across the country," he said.

"It is also a very mixed audience, there are lots of ladies who come to watch the show so it's not just a blokes night out, the ladies will recognise the same issues from netball clubs.

"Tom is in high demand, this is your chance to see him - it's not as if he will be popping back in a month."

Darren Bennett has been involved with bringing the show to Ceduna and said it was a show not to be missed.

"Anybody involved in country footy or netball will relate to his comic style, he jokes about all the things that are spot on about country clubs," he said.

"I saw him in Port Lincoln a while ago and he is very funny, and it's relative to most people in country clubs."

Tickets are $35 and are available from Ceduna Betta Home Living or the Ceduna Blues Sports Club Facebook page.

Mr Bennett said tickets were still available, while dinner can be purchased on the night.
