Wudinna’s Christmas pageant a great day | PHOTOS

December’s Wudinna Christmas Pageant saw a number of creative floats.

The annual pageant was well supported by the community and they were rewarded for waiting patiently on the side of the road when the floats came by.

Jean Spence was present for the West Coast Sentinel to snap the best of the pageant.

The pageant was led by local policeman Brevet Sergeant Richard Miles and behind him were a series of fantastic floats which ranged from Super Mario in his kart to MGA’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a beer float from the Wudinna Hotel, Pringles’ John Deere-inspired float, and the star of the show, Father Christmas, riding on a Country Fire Service Truck.

Longtime pageant participant Tony Barns also took his customary place in the line of floats.

It was a great day to bring in Christmas.
