Drought relief concert at Tumby Bay

The Tumby Show Boat, in association with the District Council of Tumby Bay, will be holding two Drought Relief Concerts in “The Soldier’s Memorial Hall” on Saturday, October 27.

All profits from the concerts will be donated to the EPIC Charitable Trust Fund that has been established by Steve Whillas to aid drought affected farmers on Eyre Peninsula.

The Tumby Bay Lions Club will be cooking two barbecues on the day, one at noon prior to a Matinee concert at 1.30pm and again at 6.30pm before the evening concert at 8.00pm.

Bar facilities, plus tea and coffee, will be available at both barbecues and at concert intervals.

Well-known Port Lincoln musicians are donating their time and talents to help fundraise.

They include John Lecner, Barry Dennis and ‘The Boston Jazz Band’.

A great afternoon and night of fabulous music is guaranteed.
