With only one week remaining until the Cleve Field Days, police are reminding visitors and residents to secure their property and adhere to signed speed limits.
Around 25,000 people are expected to converge on Cleve throughout the three-day event from August 14 to 16, with visitors from across Eyre Peninsula, the Upper and Mid North, as well as many from interstate.
Locals are urged to secure their cars and houses given the expected influx of people to the region.
Motorists are reminded to be mindful of their speed and to adhere to posted speed limits, especially in proximity to children and schools.
There will be a highly visible policing presence performing driver testing across the three days, both during the day and at night in all areas of Eyre Peninsula.
