The ladies at Streaky Bay went pink last week as they hit the golf course for a par competition.

Those who were playing were asked to wear pink for the event which saw all money raised going towards the Greenhill Lodge, supporting Cancer Council SA.

A total of $150 was raised for the organisation from the day’s play.

As far as the golf was concerned, the winner for the event was Carol Horseman, who finished the day with an even par score, ahead of the competition runner-up Sandi Skinner.

The D grade winner for the day was Betty Fox on 17 points.

Horseman and Patsy Jenkins claimed chip-ins, while Skinner took out the birdies competition.

The ladies will be back on the course this week.
