The quarter-finals of the Ceduna Golf Club Championships and a stableford event were played in blustery conditions on the weekend.
In the A grade, Graeme Smart and Clinton Wearne advanced to the semi-finals with byes, joining Jamie Davies after a win over Gavin Haynes, and Dion Hissey who beat Simon Hoffrichter.
The B grade saw Andrew Xanthopoulos defeat John Hill, Andrew Partington advance against Dean Uzzell, Ken McCarthy down Mick Stewart and Mal Fricker beat Lance McWaters.
Smart led the stableford scoring with 38, ahead of Ian McKenzie and Ben Gascoyne on 36, Peter Veldman and Kieron Warmington on 35 and Mal Fricker with 32.
Nearest to the pin on the fourth, and closest after two on the 11th, was Haynes.
The longest drive on hole three was Fricker, while Smart had the longest drive on the 18th hole.
