It is time for another Friday Flashback, with this week’s stop down memory lane going back to the July 8, 2004 edition of the West Coast Sentinel.
Who can you recognise from the pages in this edition?
This edition of the Sentinel included the news that the District Council of Ceduna was borrowing up to $1 million to complete its streetscape project.
There were long-term anniversaries recognised, with Joy and Allen Stott celebrating 40 years of marriage and Cameron Tomney was recognised for 32 years of volunteer ambulance service.
Ceduna’s Shiraz Dining Club hosted a medieval themed evening, while children at Penong were also dressing up, but as cowboys and cowgirls.
There was plenty happening on the netball court, although less so on the football field with news of the Far West league’s cancellation for three weeks.
