There were some dominant performances in Mid West netball at the weekend as club’s showed their support for Breast Cancer Network Australia with Pink Sports Days.
Wirrulla’s A grade had a great performance, defeating Elliston 57 to 36, remaining undefeated on top of the Mid West ladder.
Wudinna United was no match for the visiting Central Eyre, who won 61 to 45 and now leapfrog over the Magpies to go into fourth spot.
In the final A grade match of the round West Coast Hawks cemented second spot on the ladder for now with 51 to 36 win against Western Districts at Poochera.
In the B grade West Coast Hawks had a dominant win against Western Districts 60 to 17 and close results saw Wirrulla defeat Elliston 38 to 32 and Wudinna United edge out Central Eyre 39 to 38.
In Hawks earned clear victories against Western Districts in C and D grade, as did Wudinna United against Central Eyre while Elliston had a good win against Wirrulla in C grade 52 to 36.
In the junior matches West Coast Hawks swept the results, just as the seniors did, defeating Western Districts in junior A 58 to 30 and in junior B 24 to 23.
Wudinna United defeated Central Eyre in junior A 42 to 35 but the Bulldogs did pick up a win in junior B 28 to 17.
