Streaky Bay man reported for cannabis

A Streaky Bay man was one of four people reported for marijuana cultivation across Eyre and Western Local Service Area last week.

At about 11.30am on Thursday Streaky Bay police and Ceduna detectives searched a home at Streaky Bay following an investigation.

Police allegedly located seven large cannabis plants growing in scrub near the house and an eighth plant drying in a small shed at the rear of the property.

Loose cannabis and other equipment was also allegedly found and seized.

The 46-year-old male occupant was reported for cultivation of cannabis, possession of cannabis and possession of equipment.

The man will face court at a later date.

In separate investigations three Whyalla men will face court at a later date after police investigations on May 9 and 10 found cannabis plants and equipment was allegedly found at their homes.
