Teams in the Far West football and netball leagues are getting ready for the 2018 campaign, which starts in just over a month.
The season will commence on Saturday, April 21, with the Anzac Medal game to be played at Ceduna between the Blues and Western United, while Thevenard will host Koonibba.
Koonibba, who will be out to defend their Far West Football League crown, are training at the Far West Aboriginal Sporting Complex on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30pm.
There will be sessions for Koonibba’s senior netball team on Monday’s and for both the seniors and juniors on Thursday’s, all at 5:30pm.

Western United were football runners-up last season, while the netball side enjoyed senior success.
Football training for the senior side will be on Tuesday’s at the Ceduna Area School oval and Thursday’s at Penong, both starting at 6pm – a barbecue dinner will be available at Penong.

The Blues are getting ready for the new campaign on both the oval and court on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Senior netball players will have fitness training on Tuesday and another session on Thursday, from 6pm, while juniors will start on Thursday, March 22 at 5pm.
Thevenard is getting ready for the season with the senior football teams training on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30pm, while juniors will start in early April.
