This week’s West Coast Sentinel Friday Flashback is taking us back to 2012.
It may not feel like such a long time ago, but it has already been six years!
And six years ago, the premiere of the movie The Nullarbor Nymph was screened at Thevenard, which attracted a crowd of about 200 people from all over the West Coast eager to see the tale of the nymph adapted to the big screen.
Elsewhere, contestants got their thinking caps on as Streaky Bay enjoyed a quiz night, there was a changing of the guard for Ceduna’s Probus Club and Wudinna’s Country Women’s Association branch had raised money to support the Wudinna Hospital.
As Central Eyre prepared for the new football and netball seasons there was plenty of summer sport still ongoing, with tennis and cricket action taking place.
