A man has been reported after recording a blood alcohol reading more than six times the legal limit at Streaky Bay on Tuesday.
Police stopped a van on Wells Street just after 5.30pm and breath tested the driver.
The man allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.305 and further checks showed that the man’s licence was suspended.
A 57-year-old man from the West Coast was reported for drink driving and driving while suspended.
His vehicle was clamped and he was issued with a twelve month instant loss of licence, while he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
