Australia has advanced to the last four of the Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana.

Having breezed through the preliminary stage of the tournament, captain Hannah Petty and her team downed Scotland in the quarter-finals overnight.

The comfortable 95-22 result has set the stage for a mouth-watering semi-final against England.

The English have also moved through to this round with a perfect record and defeated Jamaica in their quarter-final.

Coach Tania Obst told Netball Australia’s website the team was confident of reaching the decider.

“We’re excited to be in the semi-finals, and are looking to put out an even better display of netball to ensure we give ourselves every opportunity to play in the gold medal match.”

The match will take place tomorrow morning, starting at 1:30am ACST.
