Skeet championship decided

It was a perfect day for the recent Far West Gun Club gathering.

The sun was shining with a slight breeze and even an emu watching on. The morning started with practice of continental and skeet, which was followed by a barbecue lunch.

The 50T skeet club championship started after lunch and with perfect targets Roger Freeman blitzed the field to win his first club championship with 44/50.

The 50T handicap was won by Matt Wilson with a score of 46/50 off 21 metres, with Steve Donnely and Allan Swearse not too far behind.

The club will host its annual general meeting on Sunday, July 9 and everybody is welcome to attend. Competition, for members only, will start at 1pm.

There is also a come and try night on Friday, July 28 from 6.30pm.
