Bureau issues severe thunderstorm warning for Far West

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for people in the west of the state.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include the Nullarbor region. 

The State Emergency Service advises that people should: 

  • Not drive, ride or walk through flood water.
  • Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. 
  • Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
