A DRIVER was caught travelling at 177 kilometres an hour in a 110km/h zone on the Eyre Highway near Iron Knob on Wednesday evening.
Just after 6pm, Streaky Bay police were conducting mobile radar duties when they detected the vehicle.
The driver, a 32-year-old man from Crystal Brook, was fined and received a six month instant loss of licence.
Streaky Bay police also reported a man for driving at 119km/h in a 110 zone on Flinders Highway near Port Kenny on Friday, March 10.
The 52-year-old man driver, from Venus Bay, was also breath tested and returned a positive result of 0.089 per cent. The man was issues a six-month instant loss of licence and his car was clamped for 28 days.
He will appear in the Ceduna Magistrates Court at a later date.
