Penong enjoys Christmas Carols show

THE Penong Christmas Spirit committee hosted the local carols event.

Carols at the Windmills proved a successful evening for the community, with about 50 people attending.

The committee supplied a free sausage sizzle for everybody to enjoy.

There was fun for all ages, with Christmas songs played throughout the evening from a variety of groups, including school children.

In addition there were other activities to enjoy, including a group of children listening to Tricia Shipard and her rendition of ‘One Night’.

Attendees ranged in age, proving there was something for everybody to enjoy on the evening, with those in attendance getting into the Christmas spirit to join in with the singing of Christmas carols.

WELCOME: Tracey Corcoran welcoming everyone to the carols.
