Elliston’s Bill Nosworthy has been re-elected to Livestock SA’s board at its update and annual general meeting at Hahndorf last Friday.
Mr Nosworthy was one of eight people who nominated for the board and was one of four to be re-elected.
Joining Mr Nosworthy for a second term were Joe Keynes from Keyneton, Andrew Clarke from Oodnadatta and Penny Schultz from Field as well as new addition Jamie Heinrich from Parndana.
Livestock SA president Geoff Power said the organisation acknowledged the contributions of those who supported the election.
“We need people to put their hands up to be involved to ensure Livestock SA remains the strong and independent voice that producers want and that is what all our candidates have done,” he said.
About 100 producers and industry stakeholders attended the event.
