Traffic concerns for supermarket

02 Jul, 2009 04:00 AM
Representations on Ceduna’s new Foodland supermarket are expected to focus on traffic concerns on Poynton Street and concerns about loading times and noise on East Terrace.

Submissions to the Council Development Assessment Panel were due yesterday and will be considered by the District Council of Ceduna this months before becoming public.

Land and business owner Geoff Boettcher said the car park would be on Poynton Street and the building towards the back of the block, with no entrance from East Terrace.

B’Orbae Hair and Beauty and West Coast Electrical are expected to move into the old supermarket building once theirs is demolished.
