On November 9 Streaky Bay Police reported a 67-year-old woman from Streaky Bay for driving with the prescribed concentration of alcohol and driving under the influence of liquor after stopping the lady on Eyre Avenue, Streaky Bay for a mobile random breath test. The lady recorded a reading of 0.235.
She received a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and had her vehicle’s wheels clamped.
On November 10 Streaky Bay Police defected a local youth’s vehicle for improper lighting and insufficient tread on the vehicles tyres. The youth also received an infringement notice for having a vehicle that breached Australian vehicles standards requirements.
Streaky Police reported a 38-year-old male from Streaky Bay for misuse of a motor vehicle on November 12 arising out of an incident which occurred on the Flinders Highway about 3km north of Streaky Bay on the same day.
